Enhanced integration with mobile devices has enabled the possibility for event control from a mobile phone or tablet. An improved web API (using SSL for encrypted communication) provides secure integration with third parties. The updated version 6.3 introduces an enhanced web browser that improves performance and enables third-party web UI to be part of Lucid’s control panel. Lucid Studio is Ross’ primary control interface for VS/AR and XR Virtual LED Studio applications. Additionally, the inclusion of Epic’s nDisplay technology allows people to seamlessly synchronise multiple LED displays for XR productions. The latest version, 4.27, aims to simplify and accelerate system set-up by including new configuration tools to calibrate camera lenses and LED videowalls, as well as improved configuration of RossTalk and Datalinq and support for embedded audio out on video outputs. Launched in 2019, Voyager is Ross’ photo-realistic graphics rendering system based on the Unreal Engine from Epic Games. I can't imagine these aren't meant to be used with a UPS.Ross Video is catering to the growing trend in VS/AR and XR virtual production environments with new updates for its Voyager graphics rendering system and Lucid Studio control solution. Anyone have any other suggestions? I've tried about everything in my troubleshooting portfolio. The only possible solution I can think of is that these require a pure sine wave UPS - which I don't believe any of my current UPS's are. The carbonite only draws about 150w when powered on. I took the new ultripower around to some other UPS's in our facility and they all fail to keep AC/DC power, but will keep the fan and network module in the ultipower functional. I've submitted a ticket with Ross and they sent me a new ultripower, which also gives the same results. It happens with 1 or both AC leads connected into the UPS. I've verified proper connection, even swapped out to a different UPS and still the same. If the UPS switches to battery backup, the carbonite will die, but everything else that is connected to the UPS will stay alive. We have a dual PSU UltriPower connected to it. We have a Ross Carbonite Ultra frame that does not like to be on UPS battery power. I'm trying to wrap my head around a very odd power issue that's going on.
